I love the holidays. And I love competition. So naturally, I got super jazzed when our office annouced they were hosting the 2nd annual office decorating competition.
We won last year with a piece of artwork that I spent more time on than actual work:
Well this year, we decided to step it up and go with a theme that was creative and nostalgic and represented all the things you love about Christmas…so we made our theme this year (wait for it) Home Alone. Yeah. BAAM! Instant winner, right? Well, not quite. Our direct competitors, the Southeast Quad (we’re the Northwest), took home the pizza party prize with their Santa’s workshop theme aka a bunch of Fedex boxes wrapped in holiday wrapping paper and letters to Santa written in illegible handwriting taped to the walls. I’m not bitter about it at all, as you can tell.
Anyways. We didn’t win and I think it’s because they didn’t want to give it to us two years in a row. But I put it up to you, the dear readers of MDHT. Check out our boobie traps below and tell me if we were jipped.
